This investment guarantees zero deforestation, as it ensures that the wood comes from responsibly and sustainably managed forests, avoiding the emission of tons of CO2 and promoting inclusive and environmentally friendly industrialisation.

On the other hand, we are committed to measures such as the implementation of photovoltaic panels that help to reduce pressure on the environment, stimulating competitiveness, innovation and economic growth, improving our commitment to care for the environment.
Thanks to the incorporation of these measures, placing the focus on the development of reliable, sustainable and quality infrastructures, Pefran is in line with the sustainable development goals established by the United Nations General Assembly, signed by a total of 193 countries in and ensuring their fulfilment by 2030.
The modernisation of infrastructures included in the 'Pefran Sostenible' plan, the more efficient use of resources and the adoption of cleaner industrial processes, with the incorporation of photovoltaic panels, will allow us to cover 25% of total annual consumption through self-generated energy.
